Seeding cross-cultural dialogue through the art of the moving image

Call it 3x3x3 in 2016. The third COB edition brings its “best of” showcase of Chinese film and media art to American audiences in a triumvirate of cities over 3 months in 2016.

New York joins Los Angeles and Washington DC, with Los Angeles opening the COB on October 14, 2016, and New York wrapping the bicoastal program in early December, 2016.

This year’s COB draws a China of remarkable plurality where sounds, images and textures of the borderlands and social margins come to the fore.
